My experience
It all began with my love for art and fashion. In high school I would do fashion illustrations and went on to be an Art major at San Diego State. I wanted my art to relate to fashion so I changed schools to FIDM The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. I received a degree in Visual Presentation which included window displays, merchandising and store design.
During my schooling I was working in retail managing, doing visual displays along with freelance windows displays. I have also been a store owner and buyer which gives me the insight of all perspectives and challenges of a retail business. Having all of these skills and my love for fashion has kept me busy doing what I love.
I am proud to say that I have been employed by Upstairs Pierre Lafond for almost 12 years doing sales and visuals. I have the fortune to work somewhere where I have the freedom to create what I see is the best for the store and always open to challenges and feedback.
